Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Simple, no frills restaurant/bar. The lunch menu at €13.5pp is tasty and filling, and I would recommend it if you are in the area."
"Sadly we only ate there the one time. We went there on Christmas Eve and they are closed. Our visit there was a few nights earlier. A friendly old school place popular with locals. Food was great. Excellent selection of tapas. Get there early to guarantee yourselves a table. It only seats about 30 people. We didn't try the cheesecake and that's a regret. The burger with Roquefort cheese was glorious."
"Went to La Parra Bar for an evening Tapas experience, The place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Barcelona as a place favoured by the locals - because it offers good quality food at a reasonable price. I found the food to be very tasty, authentic and the service was excellent. Really liked the bomba de setas (mushroom bomb). Yummy. All the Tapas we tried were tasty too. Definitely worth a visit."
"Great food and great prices! I recommend getting the daily lunch menu option."
"Some of the most amazing tapas I’ve had to date! Bravas and squid are standouts ! Good local cuisine, not touristy"
"Delicious food, very spanish experience, tapas and seafood. Stay at the bar, is a very authentic vibe. Calamares a la plancha is the best choice."
"Patatas bravas - 5/5, a nice mix of aioli and bravas sauce Pimientos de Padrón - also 5/5, nothing too add We paid around 18€ for 2 2 tapas and 4 beers so it’s a really nice place with good food (big portions), good beer, pretty interior and good prices. I highly recommend!!"
"An amazing traditional lunch at a wonderful price (12.50 euro for 3 courses, including bread and draft beer). Great to try Catalonian dishes."
